Israeli red wine

Our selection of Israeli red wines includes classic grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, as well as Argaman and Petite Sirah. These wines range from soft and fruity to full-bodied and structured.

The Barkan Classic Pinot Noir is a smooth and aromatic red wine with flavours of dark berries, mint and spices. The Barkan Classic Malbec offers rich fruit flavours, plums and a firm tannin structure. For lovers of Argaman, the Segal Dry Red Wine is an interesting Israeli red wine with a distinctive character.

Israeli white wine

Israeli white wine is just as diverse. Our selection of Israeli white wines includes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Emerald Riesling.

The Barkan Classic Chardonnay is a soft and approachable white wine with fresh fruit flavours. For a fuller style, the Barkan Reserve Chardonnay offers a rounder character with notes of apple, white fruit, honey and spices.

The Recanati Yasmin White is an aromatic white wine with white and tropical fruit flavours and fresh citrus notes. Teperberg also offers a range of Israeli white wines, including Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

Israeli rosé wine

For something fresh and summery, Israeli rosé wine is an excellent choice. Fruity and aromatic rosé wines are delicious well chilled as an aperitif and pair beautifully with salads, fish, Mediterranean dishes and grilled food.

The Barkan Classic Rosé is a smooth and fruity rosé with a light sweetness. The Dalton Estate Rosé is an aromatic rosé with notes of strawberry, rose and red grapefruit. The Teperberg Impression Rosé is another fruity option, made from Grenache Noir and Barbera.

Kosher and mevushal wine

Many of the wines in our collection are kosher. Kosher wine is produced according to the requirements of Jewish dietary law, known as Kashrut. These rules apply to the ingredients and to the way the wine is produced and handled.

You will also come across the term mevushal when looking at Israeli kosher wines. Mevushal wine has undergone a specific heat treatment during production. This allows the wine to retain its kosher status when it is handled or served by someone who does not observe the same religious requirements. Not every kosher wine is mevushal, so it is important to check the information for each individual wine.

Kiddush wine and Jewish celebrations

Wine has an important place in Jewish traditions and celebrations. Kosher wine can be used for Kiddush at the beginning of Shabbat and on Jewish holidays. Alongside dry Israeli wines, our collection also includes sweeter wines that are particularly suitable for Kiddush and festive occasions.
