Full, powerful dry red wine. The grapes come from the north of Israel and the vineyards near Jerusalem. Drink with red meat, lamb and mature hard cheeses.
Colour: bright red
Smell: blackcurrant, blackberry, spicy, full, a little bit of jam.
Taste: still ample tannins, dark forest fruits, full, firm, cedarwood (cigar box), spicy notes, classic Cabernet Sauvignon taste.
Wine/food: lamb (e.g. leg of lamb), red meat, farmer's pate, hard young matured/matured cheeses, rich stew with lots of meat, various game dishes, Mediterranean meat dishes
Note: The wine can age for a few more years in a cool dark place. Give the wine plenty of air or pour it from a carafe if you want to drink it now. It is a solid full wine in Bordeaux style.
