Teperberg Impression Syrah from Israel
Teperberg Impression Syrah is a dry red wine from Israel with a full-bodied, spicy and velvety character. The wine is made from 100% Syrah and offers concentrated dark fruit, a subtle peppery note and pleasantly fresh acidity. Its soft texture and long finish make it a powerful yet approachable red wine that pairs especially well with hearty dishes.
100% Syrah
This wine is made entirely from Syrah grapes. After fermentation, it matures for around six months in French and American oak barrels. This ageing adds extra depth and roundness without overpowering the fruity character of the Syrah grape.
From the Judean Foothills
The current label states Judean Foothills as the origin. Teperberg Winery is located near Tzora at the foothills of the Judean Mountains, one of Israel’s important wine-growing areas. The conditions in this region contribute to ripe fruit, spice and a well-balanced structure.
Tasting profile
Teperberg Impression Syrah is full-bodied, spicy and velvety, with flavours of dark fruit and ripe berries, complemented by the characteristic peppery note of Syrah. The tannins are well integrated, the acidity remains pleasantly fresh and the finish is long and spicy.
Food pairing
This Syrah pairs especially well with beef, lamb, game and poultry. Grilled meats, stews and other richly seasoned dishes also suit the wine’s full and peppery character beautifully.
Serving and storage
Serve Teperberg Impression Syrah at around 16–18°C. This allows the dark fruit, spice and velvety texture to show at their best. Store the bottle in a cool, dark place. Once opened, keep it well sealed and refrigerated.
Kosher, kosher for Passover and mevushal
This wine is kosher, kosher for Passover and mevushal by pasteurisation.
