What is kosher white wine?

Kosher white wine is very important for Jewish people living in Israel and abroad. They are living their life following the Torah, their religious anchor. Within their Jewish religion, it is stated that all followers should eat kosher. But what does, for example, a kosher white wine mean? When a product is kosher, it means that it’s safe to consume, looking at the rules of the Kashrut. The kashrut is a list of product that tells whether something is allowed (kosher) or not allowed (terefah). And what makes something kosher depends on a couple of regulations. It’s all about the origin of the product. If there’s an ingredient that comes from something kosher, the product is allowed to be consumed. The same goes for ingredients that come from terefah products; these are not allowed to be consumed. For example, only land animals that chew their cud and have cloven hooves, are permitted to being eaten. That is why Jewish people can not eat pigs: pigs do have cloven hooves, but do not chew their chud. The list of rules is extended by other types of animals, like fish or birds. All have their specific aspects which decide if it can or can not be used for consumption. Kosher white wine is thereby just a white wine that’s made out of kosher ingredients. Wine is made out of grapes, and these grape do grow on Israeli vineyards. Because these grapes are kosher (they are permitted to being consumed), these wines can automatically be called kosher white wines. And because of their believe, Jewish people need to be sure that everything they’re eating and drinking is kosher.

Hence the dream of Nati

That is why Nati is so glad he is now fulfilling his dream. As a born Israeli, Nati knows that kosher white wine, or any kosher food in general, is an indispensable factor for the people from his country. Nati himself moved to the Netherlands around six years ago. He noticed that getting hold of kosher food was not the most easy task to do. It has not been included to the assortment of regular supermarkets yet. And that’s when he decided to build Experience Israel. His dream always has been to share his love for Israel with other people. And what better way to do that, then via the rich culinary culture of Israel. With wines, beers, coffee and a broad variety of food as well, Nati collected the best of the best and put it on this webshop, just for you to get a hold of. Nati made sure you’re getting the best kosher white wine from Israel that is out there. And he likes to offer you a choice. It’s not only one type of white wine you can get, but a bunch. So you can get a Israeli Gewurztraminer, a dry white wine, a Chardonnay, a Sauvignon Blanc, a Colombard, a pinot gris and other tasty variants. There’s always a right kosher white wine for you.

White wine vineyards all over Israel

These great Israeli white wines are made of the grapes growing at vineyards all over Israel. Wineries are constantly in search of the best of the best. There are a lot of thing that have a big influence on the quality and the blend of the grapes. For example the soil, the climate, the height above sea level, the ability to water them, and other aspects. But what’s the best kosher white wine, you ask? That’s all up to you. Nati sure does have his favorite(s), but all the products on Experience Israel are very enjoyable, enticing and almost to be called heavenly.

A great gift

A Israeli white wine is one of the best gifts to someone who has a (deep) connection to the country Israel or to their cultural or religious believes. It’s not just a regular wine, but one with a backstory. It tells something, and the rich blends of the kosher white wine bring you along with the story. Having a glass of this kosher white wine, you feel like you are in Israel. Combine it with Israeli food (or snacks) and experience Israel just from your living room. And if you’re having a Jewish celebration outside of Israel, these kosher white wines will bring Israel back to you and submerge you into all the love, joy and happiness that Israel can bring you.
