Olive Wood Mezuzah with Menorah and Star of David 12.5 x 3 cm

Handmade Olive Wood Mezuzah from Bethlehem

This beautiful mezuzah is handcrafted from olive wood by Arab Christians in Bethlehem. It is decorated with a menorah and a Star of David, two meaningful symbols closely connected to the Jewish faith and Israel. The natural wood grain gives each mezuzah its own unique appearance.

According to Jewish tradition, a mezuzah is placed on the right-hand doorpost when entering a home or room. Traditionally, it contains a parchment scroll with passages from Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and 11:13-21, including the well-known Shema Yisrael: "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one."

In Jewish tradition, the mezuzah is usually attached to the upper third of the right-hand doorpost. In many Jewish homes, it is customary to briefly touch the mezuzah when entering or leaving.

This handmade mezuzah from Bethlehem makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who feels connected to Israel and biblical traditions. An explanatory booklet is included.
