Shiraz and Grenache

Dalton Winery uses Shiraz and Grenache for this Estate Rosé. Both grape varieties are particularly well suited to the fresh and fruity style of rosé. Shiraz contributes ripe red fruit and structure, while Grenache adds softness, aromatic fruit and an elegant character.

Origin - Galilee

The wine comes from Galilee in northern Israel, home to Dalton Winery. This region is one of Israel's important wine-growing areas and offers excellent conditions for producing quality wines. Dalton Winery is located in Upper Galilee and works closely with vineyards throughout the region to produce wines that express the character of this northern Israeli wine region.

Winemaking

During the production of this rosé, the grapes have brief contact with their skins, giving the juice its attractive pale pink colour. The juice is then separated and fermented at a low temperature. This controlled cool fermentation helps preserve the wine's fresh fruit aromas and aromatic character.

According to the current back label, Dalton Estate Rosé is Kosher le Mehadrin and Kosher for Passover. The wine is also specifically labelled non-mevushal. The bottle also carries the Vegan Friendly logo, making the wine suitable for a vegan lifestyle. The wine contains sulphites.
